The Great Dane Club of Greater Dallas congratulates our very own Crystal Reid and her boy Willys:
(BISS GCH GDAB Black Bear Road AOM). Willys is officially the first uncropped black male Great Dane Grand Champion in the AKC! We are all incredibly happy for Willys and Crystal for achieving this tremendous honor!

On Tuesday, February 13, 2018, Crystal Reid and her boy, Willys, won Best in Specialty Show under Judge Karen Martin at the Great Dane Club of Arizona's Specialty in Phoenix, AZ. Willys now has the distinction of being the very first uncropped/natural-earred black Great Dane to be awarded an AKC Best in Specialty Show.

WILLYS' DISTINCTIONS & ACCOLADES:
- He is BISS GCH GDAB Black Bear Road
- BRED, OWNED, & HANDLED By Crystal Reid (bred from her first litter of Great Danes).
- Finished with all points from the Bred By Exhibitor Class.
- Won the Bred By Exhibitor class at the 2015 GDCA National Specialty as a 9 month old puppy.
- Placed 2nd on the Bred By Exhibitor class at the 2016 GDCA National Specialty.
- The first uncropped black great dane to be awarded a Group placement in AKC competition.
- The 11th uncropped black great dane to be awarded and AKC Championship title.
- The first uncropped black great dane to be awarded an AKC BEST IN SPECIALTY SHOW.
